The N.A.S.D.A.N. strainer is constructed from stress relieving 1/4" and 3/8" natural polypropylene material which is CNC machined into flanges of the required diameter. The strainer frame is reinforced with 304 stainless steel rods and hardware. Polypropylene rods are welded to the base plate and top plate. A base disc is secured to the bottom of the base plate for reinforcement and anti wear. Flanged inserts are installed in the top plate for secure mounting of hose connection fittings.

Colour is added to the polypropylene weave material for aesthetic value. The strainer is hand woven to enable its unique quality of debris restriction and continued flow. 5052H32 marine grade aluminum plate is the standard hose fitting mounting material. 6061T6 structural aluminum hose fittings are standard on all strainers. All aluminum components are anodized prior to mounting.
